Overview
The U.S. Hydropower Development Pipeline database is a snapshot as of December 31, 2024 of locations and key characteristics of U.S. hydropower projects that are in the permitting/licensing/exemption phase and yet to be operational.
The dataset has been updated on July 2nd, 2025 to add Seminoe PSH and Scott’s Dam HY projects for pending licenses; Excel erroneous characters were also removed
The dataset has been updated on July 31st, 2025 to correct coordinates for PSH Iron Range
